The Qabbalistic/Kabbalistic Tree of Life, as described in the Zohar and Sefir Yetzirah (the latter may be 2,000 to 3,000 years old, and according to tradition was taught to Abraham).

Wow liam I have always associated the tree of life with Yggdrasil. I was lucky enough to have spent time with a follower of the Baal Shem Tov. I was delighted by the conversations we had and the kindness I was given. I mentioned my thoughts on Yggdrasil. and it was suggested that the image of the tree of life in Jerusalem was based on the description of Yggdrasil. I have not ever seen this image and can only rely on the words of my friend. I hope this is of some help to you
