Artist's Comments

I think this is Fenilee Reservoir near Whaley Bridge, on the Western edge of the Peak District National Park, but it might actually be a smaller body of water nearer to Whaley Bridge itself. It looked like it might have had a mill-race at one end of it.

(is this a landscape or a waterscape? traditionally it'd be a landscape)

We ate a makeshift luncheon of organic salad and yoghurt that we'd bought at Tesco in Manchester. This lake is only a short drive from the centre of Manchester -- less than half an hour I think.

It was starting to rain when I took this.

Beautiful shot, my friend ... lovely countryside!
really dreaming shot, looks like a place when it rains often. I like it. I'd like to be there, in the green, it's been a long time since I went for the last time in a green place, I miss the lakes, the mountains and so on...
Really beautiful photo, I'm not enough skilled at pictures so I can criticize this, but the emotional side is awesome.

Was it cold overe there?

Since the last time you laughed, christmas fell ten thousand times....
Cold? it's all relative. I wore long trousers but went barefoot. Yes, it rains a lot, and yes, it's beautiful!

If you feel unskilled at pictures, you are certainly skilled at drawing, and your comments are very welcomed :D

Thanks for looking, and I am pleased to hear from you again!
